A 27-year-old Evansville man faces a possible 25 years in prison for possession of child pornography .

Nicholas J. Kostman is charged with three counts of felony possession of child porn after the Internet Crimes against Children task force of the Wisconsin Department of Justice got a tip that a user by the name of Nick had sent suspicious images to another user in 2020.

According to a criminal complaint filed in Rock County Court, a Rock County detective found that 14 of the images depicted child porn.

After the state subpoenaed the Internet company associated with his IP address last April, Kostman was arrested

FBI agents found over 1,000 suspected images of child pornography and several videos on a seized device during a search warrant conducted at Kostman’s home in July 2020.
