According to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, 75 percent of Wisconsin children ages five to 11 are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Public Health Nurse Falicia Martinez says the Rock County Public Health Department and the DHS community based clinic at the former Rock County job center began administering booster shots to kids in this age group this week.

The health department has a COVID-19 vaccination clinic every Wednesday from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m., and the DHS community-based clinic at the old job center has vaccination clinics on Tuesdays and Fridays from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
