Thanks to Alliant Energy’s One Million Trees Program, Edgerton will soon receive 200 trees at the Edgerton Public Works Garage. City Administrator Ramona Flanigan says Edgerton was selected as a recipient community. Flanigan says recipients interested can reserve a tree in a container from Alliant Energy for $25, pick it up at the tree event and plant it in their yard. She says it’s a great opportunity for residents to access trees at an affordable price and would replace those they lost over the years since the Emerald Ash Borer took out many ash trees. Pick up dates are May 5 and May 7.
