The Wisconsin Interagency Council Homelessness Director discusses federal funding impacts related to Wisconsin and Rock County services. Director Michael Basford says the moratorium was helpful in keeping people out of eviction court. Basford says on the back end of that, they’re seeing a big investment in rental assistance to keep people in their housing. So far the state spent over $139 million and is helping households and landlords as they also suffered under the pandemic.
