One of the Janesville Police Department’s longest-serving officers officially retires after 28 years of service.

Sergeant Brian Vaughn started with the JPD in January 1994 and has served the community ever since.

During his time with the Janesville Police Department, Vaughn held many assignments and was a member of the department’s Special Weapons and Tactics Team for 10 years.

Vaughn’s work has been recognized by the City and JPD, with a number of awards.
