The Janesville Senior Center is being congratulated by the City of Janesville on achieving reaccreditation.

According to a news release, reaccreditation is a process which involves updating and improving policies, procedures, programs, and facilities to a set standard reviewed by a committee.

The Senior Center recently received its reaccreditation status through the Wisconsin Association of Senior Centers.

The Senior Center was first accredited by the WASC in 2011 and was re-accredited in 2017.
