Construction work on the new Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin is expected to move indoors by the New Year.  Humane Society Executive Director Jim McMullen says work at the site on County G south of Janesville is on schedule for a March opening.  McMullen says the walls are up, blacktop is in , and the septic system ready to go.  He says this year’s last big push is to get the roof on.  Fundraising is also going well according to McMullen with one last major donor needed.
