The entire community appears to be embracing the idea of Rock County purchasing the 178 acre Camp Indian Trails from the Boy Scouts of America.
County Board Chair Rich Bostwick says he’s heard nothing but positive comments.
Bostwick says the County has settled on a price of $3.4 million, and just a few inspections remain of the property before the issue goes for a full board vote in January.
Bostwick says he’s already had interest from volunteers interested in forming a friends group for what would be the County’s third largest park.
