The Hedberg Public Library is shining the spotlight on the history, tradition, and values of Native Americans and their innumerable contributions to the community and the country.

Programming and Outreach Coordinator Rene Bue says author Ben Strand will discuss his book The Black Hawk War: Landmarks, Battlefields, Museums, & Firsthand Accounts from 6:00 until 7:30 Tuesday evening.

Bue says the program is free and no registration is required.

November is National Native American Heritage Month.
