The north part of Riverside Park in Janesville is close for pavement rehabilitation.

Assistant City Engineer Lisa Wolf says workers waited until peak use of the park was over for the summer.

Wolf says citizens won’t have access to the boat launch, north playground, shuffleboard, horseshoes, tennis, or pickleball.

Wolf says the pavilion, playground, artesian well and restrooms located in the south part of Riverside Park and the Riverside Golf Course will remain open throughout construction.

Wolf says the work is on schedule and could wrap up by the end of the week.
