The Rock County Public Health Department is explaining the data that’s driving it’s decision to recommend that everyone start wearing masks indoors again.

Epidemiologist Nick Zupan says ideally the Health Department would like to see less than 12 new cases a day of COVID-19.

The Health Department issued the new mask recommendation Friday as daily cases of COVID-19 are in the high 20’s.

Epidemiologist Nick Zupan says the Delta variant remains a concern as well with a total of five Rock County patients now testing positive.
