The Rock County Medical Examiner releases the name of the Beloit woman who died in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday in the town of La Prairie.

The Rock County Sheriff’s Department responded to the accident in the 5400 block of County Highway J just after 4:00 p.m.

Investigators determined Sandra B. Reyna’s GMC Acadia went into the ditch, hit a mailbox, drove through a portion of a corn field, through a yard, across a driveway, and struck a tree.

Reyna was taken to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. Police believe speed and alcohol were likely factors in the crash but the investigation is still ongoing.

Preliminary results of the autopsy indicated Reyna died from injuries sustained in the crash.
