Three people are under arrest on gun and drug charges following and ongoing investigation by the Rock County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit.

According to a news release, a search warrant was executed on a home on the 1800 block of Harrison Avenue in the City of Beloit just after 9:00 Thursday morning.

During the search, sheriff’s deputies found more than 17 pounds of marijuana, more than 150 grams of cocaine, five guns – one of which was stolen, and more than $18,000 in cash.

20-year-old Alijawon J. Brown and 21-year-old Bertha Betancourt were arrested on suspicion of maintaining a drug trafficking place, possession with intent to deliver marijuana and cocaine, child neglect, and receiving stolen property.

19-year-old Tyrese A. Harvey-Brooks was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm, a probation violation, resisting arrest, possession with intent to deliver marijuana and cocaine, and receiving stolen property.
