COVID-19 activity is currently the lowest it’s ever been since the onslaught of the pandemic last March.

Rock County is only averaging about one new case of COVID-19 a day according to Rock County Public Health Department Health Educator Michael Niles.

Niles says currently no patients are being hospitalized for COVID-19 but there has been one more death related to the illness in the last two weeks.

Niles says currently 50% of the Rock County population have received one dose of the vaccine and 46% are fully vaccinated.
