More than one-hundred thousand dollars damage after a garage fire on Janesville’s near west side.  Firefighters were called to the 300 block of Cherry Street a little before 3:30 a.m. Sunday.  The garage was already fully ablaze when firefighters arrived.  Officials say flames did extend to a nearby two-story home and worked their way inside a bit.  The occupants escaped before firefighters arrived.  No one reported hurt.
