Rock County is only averaging about one to two new cases of COVID-19 a day according to Epidemiologist Nick Zupan.

Zupan says just a week ago, Rock County was averaging about three new cases a day.

Zipan says at this point, more than 50% of the eligible population has received at least one dose of the vaccine.

Zupan says it has been shown that the vaccine is effective at protecting people against contracting the more serious Delta variant of COVID-19.
