Activity returns to the Rock County Fairgrounds, even if it will only be a drive-thru event.  After being canceled by COVID-19 last year, the Rock County Pork Producers are hosting Porkfest.  Pork Producers President Randy Wileman says vehicles will be directed through the fairgrounds to avoid traffic tie-ups.  Wileman says in past years when Porkfest was picnic based, the drive-thru was extremely successful with as many as three-to-four thousand vehicles rolling through.  Wileman says proceeds are used to support youth scholarships, the fair’s meat animal sale, and maintenance of the Pork Show Barn.  Porkfest is planned to start at 4:00 p.m. Friday and last until the chops are gone.
