The city of Janesville gets another award for reconstruction projects downtown. The American Public Works Association-Wisconsin Chapter has named the West Milwaukee Street Bridge reconstruction a small city project of the year. This is the second project in downtown Janesville to win the award in as many years. Last year the Westside Town Square was honored. City Public Works Director Paul Woodard calls it an indication of the quality of work going into efforts to revitalize the downtown.
