The Walworth County Sheriff’s office is investigating a dead body they found in the town of Darien Thursday.

According to a release, the sheriff’s office received a call shortly after noon Thursday regarding a deceased individual located near Creek Road.

The release says Walworth County Sheriff’s are actively working on the death investigation and no further information is currently available.

The release says there is no threat to the public regarding the incident.
