An upcoming event gives those interested details about the field of construction.

C-C-I Director of Business and Workforce Development Heather Dobson says they’ll have activities for those of all ages, including building a simple circuit, sitting in a bulldozer, or learning about roofing.

Dobson says the event is also for adults and young adults who want to get a career or advance their career in construction and people will be able to learn about apprenticeships and full and part time jobs.

The event is free to the public and takes place October 1st from 10:00 until noon in the parking lot off fourth street neat the Beloit Ironworks Campus.
