U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin works to secure $ 5 million federal funding for the Woodman’s Community Center project in Janesville.

The Democrat says as a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, she was proud to request this federal funding to support this local project serving the community in Janesville.

The request has been referred to the Subcommittee on Transportation, Housing and Urban Development and Related Agencies of which Baldwin is not a member.

Baldwin also requested $1.8 million in funding for the Boys & Girls Club of Janesville to construct a new building and $96,000 for Community Health Systems in Beloit to establish an on-site pharmacy.
