The Rock County Health Department offers an update to avoid confusion on affordable COVID-19 testing sites. Communications Specialist Jessica Turner says the health department is getting a lot of questions about when and where to get tested. The health department says testing sites include primary care physicians, Walgreens and CVS pharmacies, Community Health Systems in Beloit, and the Alliant Energy Center in Madison. Most insurance plans are required to pay for testing. Turner says not everyone who wants a COVID-19 test will be able to get one due to ongoing limitations in supplies, but anyone needing one should.
